This website is dedicated to helping government policy planners
policy consultants as well as anyone and everyone who wants a more effective and efficient government. Whether you’re dealing with a town government, a subunit of a town or city, the municipal level, the regional or county level or the state level, you need clear data protocols.
In other words, all the data infrastructure within a particular state should interact with each other in a clear, efficient and non-error-inducing way, but they also have to take the next step. The next step, of course, is to network with other state-based governmental layers to ensure that data collected in one end of the country can make its way to the other end of the country smoothly, quickly and officially to produce great results at the right time for a whole new set of people.
This is possible with effective information formatting systems. Unfortunately, there are serious structural as well as bureaucratic hurdles getting in the way. This website is full of ideas. It has a lot of white papers and a lot research reports. We’ve definitely gone out of our way to compile a massive list of resources that would enable people who are in any way, shape or form interested in this topic to get the information they need so they can do further research.
With enough research, we would like to encourage and inspire consultants, decision-makers at whatever level of government to get the data structure that they need to make better decisions. That really is the bottom line because we firmly believe that the government’s role is to serve the people who elected that government.
Unfortunately, this not going to happen when the government is stubborn or uses old, outdated forms or creates systems that contradict each other or even delete data by incompetence, waste or inefficiency.
Given how heavy our objective is, you can bet that we need your help. The good news is we don’t need your dollars and cents. This is a completely self-funded project.
Instead, we’re interested in something far more precious. We’re interested in your time.
If you’ve been clicking through the source segment of this website, you probably have come across a dead link. You probably have clicked on a link that was advertised as something and then when you go there and actually read the materials it contains, it is actually talking about something else.
In any of these situations, do fill out the form below. Give us as much details as we need to fix the problem. Our goal is to give people clear, up-to-date and valuable information so our advocacy can become a reality sooner rather than later. For that to happen, we need your help. We cannot do this alone.
So, do us all a big favor. Help us debug this website. Feel free to share whatever data integration and data standardization resources you may be aware of. Help us join together as a national data standards body to make key changes happen on the ground.
Please be patient while waiting for response. (24/7 Support!)
